HERE’S WHAT I BELIEVE

Although they are interesting, I’m not the type to cozy up with deities. Eclectic paganism? That’s my jam. It’s like spiritual jazz, improvising with a bit of this and a dash of that, creating a symphony that sings to my soul. I believe in the transformative power of this personal witchcraft. It’s my DIY spiritual toolkit – less about casting spells and more about discovering the reality that resonates with my spirit.

This path? It’s not a straight line; it’s a scribble, an ever-evolving quest of learning, challenging, and growing. And guess what? I’m all in for this rollercoaster ride.

WHAT IS A WITCH?

How do we untangle the modern-day definition of a “witch”? Well, grab a broomstick (metaphorically speaking), and let’s dive into some thoughts from notable witches of recent times:

“If you are a woman and dare to look within yourself, you are a Witch. You make your own rules. You are free and beautiful.” — Margot Adler

“A witch? She’s a wise woman in sync with the Earth, a healer. We’re talking about a word that’s begging to shake off old stigmas, especially now when the world’s crying out for a dose of feminine wisdom to set things right.” — Sarah Durham Wilson

“Being a witch? It’s about believing the Earth is something sacred; it’s about women and our bodies being a celebration of that sacredness.” — Starhawk

“To be a Witch is about mastering the internal forces that fuel life, aiming to live smart and well, without stepping on others’ toes, all while staying in tune with Mother Nature.” — The American Council of Witches

“A witch, in the truest sense, is just a woman owning her power.” — Lisa Lister

This isn’t about conflicting with a non-believing, science-trusting mindset. Sure, some phrases might seem a tad airy-fairy (blame it on the New Age vibes), but there’s a clear thread: being a witch, particularly as a woman, is about challenging the norm, grabbing hold of that ‘forbidden fruit’ of personal power. Witchcraft? It’s just our unique way of embracing and expressing that strength.

THE JOURNEY AHEAD

This isn’t just a website; it’s a chronicle of a never-ending spiritual escapade. It’s where I’ll be dishing out my insights, stumbles, and everything in between. Think of it as your backstage pass to the eclectic pagan scene served with a side of sass and a dash of irreverence.

Expect a blog that’s as unpredictable as a cat on catnip. One day, we might dive into the lore of ancient runes, and the next, we could unravel the mysteries of moon phases. It’s about learning, laughing, and sometimes, just winging it.
